   Apparently I have over 40 000 emails on my Google Apps account.

     In the Gmail app they’re only listed as “many” :) I’ve been trying to sync them for over 12 hours, but Gmail won’t allow more than 5 simultaneous connections, and it doesn’t seem like it’s using more than ~10KB/s bandwidth.

     According to Wolfram Alpha it’s going to take a while. And 10 KB/s is even optimistic. It looks like this sync may take days to complete, as the speed flip-flops around between 2 and 7 KB/s.
